hot water problem small room
The breakfast tasted good I enjoyed the cooked options.
The hot water situation became irritating I couldn't get a decent shower. The room size also felt small , made it difficult to relax I wish I had known this beforehand.

lukewarm water small room
The staff was friendly. I guess that's the bare minimum one expects.
i found the lack of hot water quite humorous, as i enjoy a good, brisk shower. the water barely reached lukewarm, a invigorating experience. the room, while cozy, felt smaller than my walk-in closet, not a problem for me, but noteworthy nonetheless. it seems a bit much to ask for hot water at a hotel.

Charming Stay in a Great Spot

friendly staff clean premises thoughtful touch
I found the staff consistently friendly and helpful. The premises presented as spotlessly clean (a real plus!). I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of biscuits and coffee being available in the room.
My room was in a separate, older building. Although I'm generally able-bodied, the entrance proved a bit tricky to navigate unassisted. I think a handrail would help.
Rooms
9/10
The double room I occupied featured tea facilities and a shower that worked well. The bathroom was suitably large. Breakfast service proved good, especially the selection of teas (I'm a tea lover!).
Service
10/10
The staff demonstrated consistently helpful and friendly service. They promptly answered my questions about city center directions. I really appreciate the staff's quick, informed advice.
Dining
9/10
Breakfast offered a good service. I appreciated its ample choice (especially the pancakes!). The food quality felt lovely. I will surely consider this again.

difficult shower breakfast setup
the room was clean which was acceptable.
My room's shower cubicle proved quite difficult to use. the flow control was almost impossible to grip with wet hands i suggest a design change to make this easier. also, the breakfast setup was not ideal. I would have preferred a more casual buffet style.
